Still in its infancy, there is a lot of nice potential with some successful titles but the limitations of current hardware makes it hard to compete against desktop AAAs except in niche areas. With the right amount of optimisation and tradeoff between graphics and gameplay some titles may just be about to turn the tides in the times to come.
