Well, since you asked twice, I am willing to show you how it looks right now. But please keep in mind, that almost all you see here are placeholders. The level design is definitely not final at all. The textures are horrible. Basically all you see is subject to change.
This was the first "prototype". My first steps in Unity. This was the first day I started working on the game.
This was after a few days, with a nice death animation (exploding cube) that I plan to keep.
This is how it looks right now, after 6 weeks of work (on weekends and evenings). Again, this is a very early version and I will probably work on this all year (if I even finish it this year). But you can see where it is going. At this point I have figured out how to do a proper 2D perspective with an orthogonal camera, I have 6 different perspectives (more to come) and I have a complete level (complete in the sense that it's filled with content from start to finish, not that it's final in any way).
Please don't share those videos. I don't have a problem showing the game on Steamgifts in general, but maybe it is a little to early to do that. But I guess I would appreciate the input of a few select people, though. So here you go. Constructive criticism is very much appreciated.

Thank you for sharing, very much appreciate the trust. I still dont have a good name imo.
Cubetrails, Spiketrails? I think spiketrails fits better with the videos I've seen. If the game has no character customization then I wouldnt focus on the cube. Although if you final product has an adorable art for the cube that would be different. Not asking for you to show me btw. haha I respect your privacy and work. ^^
Characters like Cuphead which has a great character design and background design often does not define the game it is. I was interested in Cuphead till I understand its a hard platformer which I totally suck at and will rage more than i enjoy haha.
I'll put those images in mind and if I can come out with something better, I'll post it in the forum.
Cheerios~

That's the thing, I also would focus more on the nature of the game (platformer, hard) than the cube. Still difficult to come up with a good name. ^^ I also don't know if I really want to put any silly texture on the cube, just to give it personality. I personally dislike the way it looks in Geometry Dash, for instance. Not sure, maybe I'll find something that I like and that serves this purpose.
Appreciate the feedback. :)
