This is one of those sort of games where... you kinda don't know what to make of it before playing. The "based on a true story" part is highly doubtful, given the reference in screenshots to "Ghouls" ... but nevertheless, hand drawn, a developer who listened and updated the translation (apparently), plus visual novel? Sure, why not.
