Hey guys, small favor to ask from you.
I love story-driven indie games, such as To The Moon, Gone Home, Dear Esther or The Cat Lady.
Stuff that I like the mos are small yet interesting and endearing oddities such as Emily Is Away, Three Fourths Home or Dinner Date.
All suggestions (even games I've already played) are much appreciated!

Reminds me of 90s LucasArts stuff. Thanks!

You should try Rakuen, Papo & Yo and The Fall.

I second The Fall. Controls are a little awkward, but it's a good game.

These are all exactly the kind of stuff I'm looking for. Thank you!

Sorry can't help since I'm just discovering this kind of game. -.-'

Thanks for the chance!
Ara Fell is rather story driven, if you prefer anime style.
Or "ICY" if you want a more gritty look.

They both seem interesting (didn't know about either). Thank you!

The Stanley Parable is great, if you like indie games with crazy and interesting plot. But I think you already played it ^^
And I finished Downfall a month ago, it's absolutely great! The Cat Lady is waiting for me now..

The Stanley Parable was absolutely fantastic, one of the top of its genre, indeed.
I haven't played Downfall yet, I've added it to the wishlist. Thank you for the suggestions!

Have you tried Portal 1 and 2? They might not be strictly 'indie' games but are short and have nice story, full of surprises and easter eggs...

I have played them, but they are brilliant and absolutely worth the mention. Thank you!
