This game was worth $31.00. On Steam, at the moment, it is worth $20.99. This is NOT fake and it is totally legit! If you have nothing positive to say, don't say anything at all. Honestly, there is no way (as far as I know) to check a steam key - if you posted it to some third party website then there is a solid chance it got stolen. The only way to check a steam key is by activating it on your account (if you have the game already) and it will tell you that you already have the product.
don't take it as critique, just warning for the future :) there are a lot of scam websites

I know that actually... I've been trying to find one for many weeks ever since I got scammed on https://www.steamtrades.com, but the only way is if you use a website like g2a. When buying the game you always can make sure it's valid. Anyway, in my case, I got it from a card so I know it never been used before. Now don't come and say in the description I say I validated it in a website... because I did do that. On InstantGaming, when you purchase something, it gives you the unused number on the back of the card.

What Plushy was basically saying is that you can't set your own personal rules regarding who wins and who doesn't. If someone you think was being rude to you and won a giveaway of yours, then you can request for a reroll under the "inappropriate behaviour" tag, and the mods will check if it was a valid reason or not.
If for example CeilingChair wins this giveaway and you don't want to give it to him just based on his post above, then a mod must check first if CeilingChair qualifies or not under the "inappropriate behaviour" tag, and they will decide if its worth a reroll or not. If they don't deem it rude, there's not much you can do and you must give him the key, as per steamgifts rules.
As far as my almost 10 years since i've been on steam, i am very certain that there isn't a site that can check a steam key if its legit or not. G2A has a system that can guarantee you of getting a legit key, but it doesn't actually have a service that can verify the legitimacy of any key after you bought it.
The only way to know a steam key is legit after you purchase it from a third party store, is that you bought it from a trustable site and they are willing to refund it depending the circumstances. Many of these stores have their reputation on their line if they don't constantly distribute legit keys. Otherwise you just have to keep any keys you have for yourself and never show it to anyone, any site or person that says he can check if the steam key is valid or not, is lying.

So you buy a game from Instant-gaming and think it's 100% valid. Only 100% valid way of getting working key is being the developer of the game and to request a code from Steam. Other than that the only other 100% valid way, while not being the developer, is to buy it straight from the Steam store (i.e. gift to another player).
