If you're a fan of open-world games, I consider Sleeping Dogs to be a must play. The controls are smooth (though the animation sometimes stutters to accommodate it during fights); the action is consistently fun, whether you're using kung fu, melee weaponry, firearms, or the brutal environmental attacks; and the story is essentially a John Woo action flick translated into a game. It's excellent.
