And here we have one of my favourite games. Enough to write a review and a massive wall of text. The only guide I managed to get enough votes for to show an actual star rating. I think three is okay although I hoped for a better result obviously ^^ One virtual bonus cookie for the one who can tell me out of his head from which game I stole the item name. It is funny because Fact is actual .....

Wow you're close to having played that game for 100 hours :O It's on my wishlist for a long time (I'm secretly hoping it's gonna pop up in another bundle) but I didn't expect at all that there's so much content in there, like Binding of Isaac..
As for your question: the quote / the item name got its origin from Ys Origin (XD) . I admit I googled it, just for the sake of satisfying my curiosity. Love that quote ^^ I guess my research disqualifies me getting a cookie but that's alright.

I admit I never played the Binding of Isaac for the simple reason that I just don't like its art direction (McMillen is a bit to focused on some rather unpleasant things in my opinion). Therefore I can't compare the two games but judging from what I read there are some important differences. But Our Darker Purpose has a lot of content (if you took a look at the guide you have seen the large number of bosses already). Then you have items, lessons, perks and mind crushing hard mode and more. Really liked to play it. I think I needed around 60-70 hours to get all achievements, The rest was to relax and collecting data for the guide.
And for the quote you took more effort than everyone else ^^ The fun part is that the achievement is for an encounter between two brothers with the surname of Fact. So it is a bad play on words. Game has two other achievements with the Fact in it ^^
