I do enjoy horror games. I've never played the Resident Evil games, but I've read up on it quite a bit.:)

If you've never played resident evil games, Resident Evil 4 is the best place to start!

RE4 is a good game, but I enjoyed RE 1-3 a lot more. I wonder is Resident Evil Remaster good.

I wish they had 1-3 on Steam. :(

I have the Strategy Guide for it. I got it cheap at the local Value Village. I read through most of it, and it does look like a challenging game.:)

I personally found that playing RE5 before RE4 definitely gave me trouble with 4 as it took a long time to get used to the different controls

So another vote for 4 before 5. I'll definitely do it in that order! Does anyone here know if RE 6 is any good?

Resident Evil 4 changed a lot from previous games, but still feels like a horror survival. Resident Evil 5 on the other hand feels more like a zombie shooter than a survival game.
Never played Resident Evil 6 but judging from the videos I watched and reviews I've read it's garbage.

Thanks for letting me know, Chibi. What exactly is a ChibiCthulhu, anyhow? Hmmmm.
I feel that I must add you to my Whitelist just for the fact that you have Cthulhu in your name, and Cthulhu rules over all.;)

Hard to say, I really enjoyed playing Amnesia, especially the dark descent, but older silent hills are excellent as well :3.

I used to like RE, but haven't tried one in a decade or two :P

Don't usually play horror games, but the first Dead Space was all right.

depends if the gameplay is good, I liked the suffering

I don't play too many horror games since it's hard for me to immerse myself in them enough for them to actually scare me, but Alien Isolation was pretty fun even if I didn't find it all that scary.

I haven't really played any horror games.

I don't play horror games that often, but I actually just started Bioshock.

havent played horror games, i do own slender which i haven't tried, but i love horror films, the one i can think of currently that i've enjoyed the most was the saw movie series.

I myself dislike gore movies, I enjoy horror movies with more of a atmospheric suspense approach, but to each their own

I enjoy some, but more the type where you can fight them and not the jump-scare kind where you're always vulnerable. And the older I get the less I can handle this stuff :(

I'm mixed, because I really want to just face my fears and fight them, but I feel that a lot of horror game charm is lost when you can fight back. I found that the fatal frame games were just right in being in the middle

I've played the old resident evil"s on PS1 and I've played this before on PS2 but never got to finish it.

The most spooky game I've played so far is The Walking Dead, the beginning car crash scene was too much for me. ;_;.

I don't really enjoy horror games. But my brother said outlast seems not bad, although he would prefer a game that uses ghosts and super natural stuff.
