If everyone was writing "thanks" I would not have seen or read your comment due to all those pointless posts. How is it showing appreciation clogging up the whole comment section, thus making it difficult for the ones actually wanting to write something of value to be seen? Think about it. I stand by my statement, the act of entering is thanks enough.
People see things differently. It's perfectly fair that you don't want people "spamming" your giveaways. I for instance, don't mind 100 people all saying thanks, I don't consider it spam. I do however consider it spam if it was 1 guy posting thanks 100 times. But, to each their own! Luckily, most of us are different from each other :3
