A bit of both. I remembered in December, then started to forgot about it until January rolled in then I remembered again, then around a week earlier someone reminded me so I kinda updated to point out I was aware and would make giveaways as promised. About one or two days before the deadline, I figured out what I was going to giveaway then made the giveaways. Then today someone reminded me again today a few hours before, and the sad thing is.... I think I'd have forgotten again. To post the giveaways at the exact time, I mean. (I was playing TESO.)
So really, I'm lucky so many people messaged me about it. :D
