Description

Christmas is coming! And sooner than one might think it will be Christmas Day.
I didn't get into the right Christmas mood yet... well maybe a little bit but not as much as I wished to be. So I need your help to get me there. Just like last year I will send out as much of the good game keys I have as giveaways ending on Christmas Eve and instead of just saying "thanks" it would be great if you would contribute to get me (and most probably yourself and others as well) into Christmas mood by doing one of the following:

  1. Name a Christmas Movie (your favorite, one you want to see yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

  2. Name a Christmas Song or even better a Christmas Album and the Interpret singing the song or album (your favorite, one you want to listen to yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

  3. Name a Christmas PC Game (your favorite, one you want to play yourself, one that has a special meaning for you this year, etc)

  4. Tell me your Christmas Plans and what you will do on Christmas.

  5. Tell a Christmas Story (real or fictional)

  6. Send a good/funny Christmas Gif or Picture.

Thank you for your comments and have a great Pre-Christmas-Time! :-)

I just saw Arthur Christmas, which is a surprisingly good Christmas movie for both kids and adults alike, and one not many people seem to have heard of. It's essentially a story that justifies how Santa can deliver all his gifts on Christmas Eve across the world by giving him sci-fi technology. It's on Netflix, so it's also easy to find!

Although this doesn't meet any of the qualifications you listed, the Christmas movie I'm gonna name is Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, but not the Rankin Bass version. You see, there's a knockoff of that movie made by Goodtimes, and I bring it up because, in this version, Rudolph's father actually acts like a good father rather than one who immediately gives up on his child and tells the kid to his face that he's gonna be a failure like in the Rankin Bass version.

As for my Christmas plans, I'm gonna open presents and...that's as far as I've planned.

Thank you for bringing this up! To be honest, I have never... NEVER seen any Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer movies yet. So i should start this year with the Goodtimes version ;) I will try to get it and give it a try... and then later compare it with the other version.

Well then I hope you get to open so many presents that you don't need to make other plans :D except you get bored with all those presents ;)

Since you haven't seen either version, I recommend watching the Rankin Bass version first, as that's the version that isn't a cheap knockoff. The reason I brought up the Goodtimes version is because I found it amusing that the knockoff actually has something going for it that the genuine version doesn't.

One of my favorite Christmas albums (this has a few different songs than the album I have, but it's mostly the same)
Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song

I have a few mp3 songs of Nat King Cole but never listened to him long enough to get the right feel for his (christmas) music. I will listen to the album and change that. Thank you for mentioning it! :)

There is nothing left to be added...
Both are great films. And Bill Murray is just awesome as Xavier Corss :D One of my must-see-christmas-movies!
