Life has its ups and downs and it keeps going on. It's the hope for sweet valuable moments that keeps us going on. So keep going on and remember that after bad times, good times will always come. 🌸

I wish you and your family find peace and be strong in this period that you are going through and as our friend from above ArmanK97 commented: life has its ups and downs, and that in the future that moment will be replaced by happier times and love. ❤️

I wish you to sort out your problems, it can be dangerous for your health. at home, you should have warm clothes and blankets so that you never get cold. you're lucky it's not winter

It is still pretty cold here! And I am from a hot country so I am a small cold birb!
I bought an electric heater to provide heating for the baby!
Thank you!

Thank you - I am indeed a higher intelligence life form. Well, maybe I am just pretending to be, that would be more logical.

Anyway, my Higher Intelligence tells me that you & your family are strong, and will get through these dark times together!

Also, I didn't know what a boiler was & looked it up, I found this link very useful: how different boilers work. Next time some technician comes over and claims nothing is wrong, you can ask them what type of boiler it is & see if they even know what they are talking about. Once you know what type of boiler it is, you can call up and interview technicians before they even come over, saving yourself time & your landlord money.

Thank you higher intelligence life form!
Your advice is sound but my French are still worse than a toddler's! So I have to leave as it is.
The second problem is that it is a standard cover contract from the company and no one else can touch the boiler. :(
But I will use this knowledge when I speak better French!

You're welcome!

Also, I'd like to suggest making sure your smoke alarm works. I had a small electric heater and it burned out causing smoke (thankfully not a full-blown fire). However, I've heard of some electric heaters causing fires when they burn out or something accidentally falls on top of them.

It has made numerous sound attacks when we were cooking things. But yes, I should check this out.
I have taken measures though, I have the heater with a generous area free around it.
