Even tho it sure is a good game I'll stay out.
I like playing hard games but rather RPG/RTS games than action RPGs. Getting one-hitted like in Nioh and having to replay a larger part of the game is frustrating and would annoy me pretty soon. I'd rather stick to Divinity OS 2's tactician mode because I'm offen exhausted and sleepy from work so my reaction tend to be slower or atleast too slow for that kind of games sometimes. ...or maybe I'm just "too old for this shit" :3

The hint in the puzzle says "There is no hint. Just copy and paste." But the screwed-up hint timer means nobody will ever see it... :) Oops... :(
I prefer the first game myself, eventually got bored in some DLC area of the second game, never went back to finish it... But, it did take me a few hundred hours to get bored with it - so it wasn't exactly bad... :) So you might want to play the second one some time, but it wouldn't kill you to miss it. :) It's not quite the same as skipping a book in a series - it kinda went off in its own direction.

Some people try to convince themselves that it means a remaster/remake/whatever is coming, but I think it's as likely the publisher simply forgot about it, or doesn't want people buying the "old game" for mysterious business reasons... A lot of old games on Steam just stop getting discounted at some point, and there's no hidden meaning to be found...

It would probably make more sense to start with the first one, but I don't think anyone gives that away any more, and you can always go back to play it later... :) Actually it was removed from the giveaway list for a while, since it was available free in some store promotion. I seem to recall the usual suspects grabbed multiple copies via proxy, and absolutely nothing was promoted.
It seems every time some business gives away a pile of free Steam keys for the first time, they learn what not to do, the hard way...
Hmm, I guess nowadays you'd be able to give away Dark Souls as a "0 CV" game, but you won't find many people willing to pay $20 for zero precious CV... :)
