For what it is worth, I totally missed your thread but got the message through other means. Now will the people I msg come here and spread it further? And then the people they msg, etc, etc.
That's the idea. It's an elegant way to avoid bots and lurkers, because who would invite them? :P
Don't link them to the actual giveaway, though. Make sure they go through the Doors of Durin. If you don't know what I'm talking about, or didn't go through that door to get here, add me on steam and let me know.
Yes, I had to go through the LotR door. That is actually one of my favorite scenes in the movie version (for some odd reason). Yep, I'll link them to that when I send it on.
On a side note, I won't Bump the thread but saying not to bump the thread is a lot like putting a big button in front of me with a sign that says, "do not push!!" Sure, I won't push it, but I sure want to! :)
I know, but what else can I do about it? I don't know of any way to lock comments from my end, unless I can close the discussion and still allow people to view it, but I don't know how that works, and don't want to risk it.
Thanks to the help of WarFerret below, the thread is now closed, so it's still just as viral, but now I don't have to worry about thread cancer killing my thread. :)
