Am I the only one who finds this concept exceptionally weird? What possible reason could there be to restrict children's access to the internet? What's this "unsafe" stuff that's being blocked?
Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I think it would be a good, hassle-free way for my daughter to use my computer without bothering to go through setting everything up myself aka i'm lazy :D
Simple way to let children use a computer: Buy a reasonably inexpensive one, possibly second-hand, and give it to them, with no restrictions. Seriously, you don't become good with computers without first messing up so bad you have to reinstall the OS a few times.
My gf hates that I am always installing a new OS or fixing up my computer or some other related thing. I've tried to explain how I write programs and she gets this faraway look in her eyes lmao
