I've never gotten anything in my years of eating it but I also don't eat gas station sushi or anything that smells funny or looks like it may have been sitting out for a while :D Also if they're doing it right, it's been frozen to kill any parasites.
If you do decide to give it a try at some point, definitely go to a semi-decent restaurant if possible :)
