Won't matter. Content and achievement differences, along with the fact that this version actually has bugfixes that HRDC doesn't have, and is no longer available means even if he asked for a reroll, it probably won't be granted.

For the same reason they don't grant rerolls on Deponia The Complete Journey. It is NOT the same experience as the original release plus the DLC. He can ask all he wants but it won't happen.
