Recently I finished the GOTY Enhanced edition of Borderlands, which I played in the original ages ago - back then I made it nearly to the end of the first play-through, and this time we did the base run and also moved on to the DLC packages (except the Underdome arena DLC, life's too short for that one). I'm delighted at how old the Borderlands games are. The first one came out in October of 2009, fifteen years ago this week. Borderlands 2, which we've just started - I'm playing these co-op with a friend, though at heart I'm really a solo player - came out in 2012. And here in 2024, I'm having a blast with them. Though I'm not sure I'm actually going to go and do the second play-through, because, well, you know. There are so many games in the world.

Tried Borderlands GOTY Enhanced when it was released. I couldn't, it aged too much.
And I've 100% the original Borderlands, Moxy's DLC included.
When you've played Borderlands 2 and 3, it's really tough coming back to the first.
BTW, in term of story Borderlands 2 > shit > Borderlands 3, but in term of gameplay Borderlands 3 >>>>>> Borderlands 2. If you enjoy the first two games, you definitely have to try the third despite its awful writing.

Well, I enjoyed the first one a lot. The BL2 has a really different feel, I think I'm just coming around to it now. I've brought my first toon to Sanctuary, and a second one I'm trying out. I'm playing the Siren to start with, I like Sirens. I have the whole kaboodle, so I'll get through all of them eventually. I hope.
