You are somewhere inside the ZIGGURAT OF DISAPPOINTMENT™, but this does not appear to be one of the attractions. It seems keeping this much disappointment in motion requires a lot of work behind the scenes. Perhaps you were mistaken for a new hire?
You walk north, through a hallway bereft of cubicles. You notice a few people standing near an open office door. There appears to be a hint of actual sunlight nearby - perhaps from a window? It's hard to be sure from out here. The hallway continues north, but one of these people should be able to help you. You decide to ask someone.
However, before you can catch someone's attention a friendly-looking fellow exits the office door, closing it behind himself. It appears he was expecting you. He thanks you for coming, and leads you south, walking quickly, back into the warren of cubicles.
"There's a place back this way. The noise isn't so bad, really, once you get used to it. And the... Hmm, we really should have something on the wall in here. I can't read a word of it, but people seem to like them. And a little art never hurts. No, this won't do at all. Say, did you happen to spot one on the way up?"
Well, you could correct his misunderstanding, but that would just put you BACK WHERE YOU STARTED. Why not try to FAKE IT instead? I mean, maybe there's some better giveaways in the next part? :)

I am amazed ( :} ) by this. I really enjoyed the creativity and fun in this unique puzzle and was super happy to see this game as I'm a huge fan of cosmic horror. Thank you so much for the ride.
I burned my hand really badly this morning and while its been treated and I will be okay, its still quite painful. Except I was so immersed in this puzzle I was totally distracted so thanks again. Whitelisting you as you're so generous and this was genuinely the most fun I've had with an SG puzzle (and there's more!). I now must depart, to further explore this bleak and not-so-disappointing strange world.

I keep hoping for a surprise Bloodborne PC announcement, but we'll probably get PS4 emulation before that happens... :) Or maybe when consoles disappear and you have to play everything via some streaming nonsense... :)
Hope your hand is feeling better soon... :) Also hope I can finish the rest of this puzzle soon... :) There's a couple levels of stuff that won't be ready for hmm, 2 days I guess? :( It would be pretty sadistic to make a maze with half the giveaways unconnected, so there's still time to come up with a "Plan B" so to speak... :)

I need to think of a better way to make it, though - doing it manually isn't going to scale very well... :( Maybe I could have each giveaway start with a link to all four directions, and delete the ones that aren't supposed to be there? Might need to think about it a bit more...

Hmm not to hijack this but it appears I too am stuck on second ITH. Is the periodic table being incorporated yet? I was paying attention to when certain writings appeared, but not sure how to use that to answer the question.

Wow that is a tough one! Does the "Presto" part suggest that the answer is not in English?
As for the Navigation, it would have been great if the directions would always be in the same place, and an indication where we came from.

Most of my puzzles are like that. You know, it's asking for something, but you don't know what. So you take what you do have, google around, see what you get. If you get the right thing, you're in. Does that help? :)

I'm still adding puzzle parts, but currently the rest of the pieces are hmm, Level 4 and up. :( There's a huge pile of stuff coming, though. The giveaways are made but I need to join everything together so you can reach them... Taking longer than I expected, actualIy... :(
So maybe keep working on the puzzle if you like that sort of thing, so you'll be ready to reach the rest, if I can ever finish it... Not looking good for today, but I'll keep trying... :)
As for this game, I don't know if it's good, haven't actually looked into things... Just know that it's coming soon... :)

i didn't know this game but, as an old avid reader of lovecraft novels and player of the pen and paper rpg, i am sure i can appreciate this in case i get it. only hope the requirements are not to high for my potato computer. now pause key and think about the puzzle later or tomorrow. thanks for the big work and entertainment!

If you decide to post another hint, could you please let me know? I'm stumped... It seems like it should be obvious - just identify what I saw before, and tell the friendly man what it is - but nope, can't find any way to make that work :(

Hmm, mainly the idea was if I really wanted a game I wouldn't be able to enter the giveaway, because it would already be in my library. :)
To give an example, I see a few Disney games being given away in some groups, one of which is the "Removed Games Collectors" group I'm in somehow or other... :)
I can see those giveaways because I decided not to buy the games, not even with the 75% discount they had. :) I don't have any nostalgia for that stuff, never played any of them... Hopefully that gives everyone who actually enjoyed those games a better chance to win them... :)
Now, those games will probably end up in my library anyway, just not today. :) Eventually there will be a bundle, or a bigger discount, and I won't be able to resist buying them... :) Even though I know I'll never install them... :)
