I have DA:I and I did not enjoy the single player campaign. I stopped playing deep in the Hinterlands zone. I did have fun with the multiplayer as it is co-op and I have some friends who enjoy co-op play. The multiplayer is free as a standalone game on Origin. I would recommend The Witcher 3 for a better RPG or Divinity: Original Sin. A lot of my friends are recommending Metal Gear Solid V to me and I am planning on trying it. Maybe wait until DA:I is on deep discount as the GOTY ed. just came out. The combat is very repetitive and intrusive to the story imo.
It's sad to hear that since I am a big fan of the first 2 dragon age games :(
