Portal 2 (well, it is the only platformer game I beat)
I also quite like Ori and the Blind Forest, but I really suck at platformer games, so I abandoned it after 4.5 hrs of playtime (last played Jan 14, 2016, lol)

id have to second this, space core and the turrets imo are just too funny (its not the only platformer i beat though)

I am gonna to play portal next, and replay portal 2 :)

I gave up on Ori with the rising water level.

I don't even recall where I left, all I can remember is I got stuck somewhere not knowing where to unlock the next area to progress.

2.2 hours here, last played May 24, 2017 😂

7 years have past, try it again?
I really like the soundtrack and want to see how the story ends before it hits 10 year anniversary.

Too many other games to play that look more fun :(

Hahaha, that is true. I categorized my library a few months ago into low-medium-high priority, and I have over 100 in high priority. Maybe I should add another ultra high, lol

Mm, I should do something like that sometime

Somehow my gametime is missing on the windows/game pass version, but I found a screenshot for beating (not 100%) and it was about 11 and a half hours. So you probably spent enough time to determine if it was or wasn't for you. Unless you were playing on mouse and keyboard, which I did for the first game I think but it was...a struggle. I didn't put myself through that during the second game.
But I think it is good enough that you liked Ori despite not being able to complete it.

I was playing on mouse and keyboard at the time. Maybe I will try again with a controller later. I really wanted to finish the story :)

Totally up to you. You could maybe watch a commentary less playthrough if you didn't feel like bothering with it.
But it's fine in either case, there's been plenty of other games I could note like TES:IV and V that I put a ton of hours in and just never actually finished.

What a revelation, this post. And I thought I was the only one who wasn't skilled enough to beat Ori. I tried: 14.3 hours clocked, 16 out of 50 achievemebts earned, last played 2. October 2020.

I got 9 achievements, looks like they were all done in one sitting on 1 Jul, 2015. So I must have tried it again in 2016 and still unable to progress, lmao

Almost Nice!
Limbo? Captain Claw as well.

Spyro (Trilogy)
Just super fun... and I like collectathons as well... so there is that.

I didn't play many platformers, but from the ones I played, Spelunky and Hollow Knight would be my favorite

Wow, this will be hard, since I don't like platformers anymore.
Errrr.....The last I liked to play was...... Flashback? :D

Tend to avoid pure platformers, but the last one I finished would be Yooka-Laylee I suppose which was fun enough, leaving aside how infuriating the last boss was.
Edit - Oh and Ghostrunner since it can be considered a platformer technically.
Not included - metroidvanias and puzzle platformers.

(i will show my age lol)
Donkey Kong 2-3, Ori 1-2, Abes Odyssey/Exodus, Flashback, La-Mulana, Strider and maybe Dead Cells
I cant really put one over the others. Some fit more or less as platformers depending on the definition- Abe and Flashback definetly have more of a puzzle thing going on, deadcells and to some extent strider focus more on combat...
...and heck some definetly hate La-Mulana platforming itself (its far from modern quality of life, its purposely 'clunky'), yet a really special jewel and genious metroidvania-ish. Heck its hard to pin it to one thing, it have puzzles(not in the usual sense, way smarter btw), it is metroidvania-ish but with far more focus on platforming... and it revolves around platforming despite having very limited tools for that...
Anyway all great games id recommend

Donkey Kong games have some staying power! I still have fondness for Mario 3 and World. Yoshi's Island and saving baby Mario is some tricky stuff too.
Think we were doing.a DK on the DS...had a nice feeling of flow.

Batbarian was one I was pleasantly surprised by, though it's hard and I barely squeaked by with the bad ending.
We play all the Mario games, and Odyssey was really fun for 3d platforming. Kirby's Forgotten Land is fun for 2p and has rocking music and a story that keeps giving, but perhaps less platform and more stabby adventure, and Odyssey is stronger for solo.
Oh! Nuclear Blaze! Short, lots of great setting to make anyone able to finish it. Really enjoyed the kind of puzzle-ish fireman platforming. Has an interesting story and a few fun side goals. New game plus has added areas and different pathing. Great feel of color in the art, and a sense of fire. Highly enjoyed it. Made by Dead Cells dev.

I know it's more of a troll game than a platformer, but I really enjoyed Eryi's Action!

Hmm, it's hard to pick one, but, probably FEZ.

Super Mario Bros 3. If I have to choose a more recent game, The Messenger

Ratchet and Clank is my favourite for sure. Still like to play it nowadays.

A Hat in Time! Cute and fun!

My favourite is Monster Sanctuary, which is a metroidvania which lets you control some monsters à la Pokemon.
