Check out my GF's blog if you want - ŻABIE SPRAWY. It's written in polish but major part of it are her attempts at capturing pictures of things. Name of the blog means "frog's cases" in english because I often call her "frog" :-)

I'm in for the DLC and hope that's okay. In case it's not just let me know and I'll drop out (or you can reroll in case I don't see it in time). Thanks for sharing :)

Well, I finished all of this game. I really suffered doing the achievements because I replayed through it like five times for the DLC and three times for the man game. Really dislike 'getting everything and lean towards a certain ending' just for the achievement because it makes you follow a guide and I didn't bother to look at what it needed until it was the last one to do.
The DLC was more annoying and It felt longer to finish than the main game (if you rush) with the weird baby/infant area that takes like 20 minutes to go through (you still walk at normal speed, but the room is normal size) if you're going for the The Tree and The Apple achievement. Oh, and the crayon level can take a long time because it's an unfinished painting world until you find crayons to use on the canvas. Even then, some of the area paths aren't clear and you can waste time looking for all the items in that level too. Another 20 to 30 minutes I hated after replaying.
It's one huge circle with only a few areas placed inside to find them while the rest is empty, so you keep going in circles to find all the items/events. Walking too far out resets your position since it doesn't loop, I guess.
Oh, and this might be my quickest finished and played win now. One month.. (well, almost two)

Well, you are a first person on SG to give me a feedback like this. I hope that you enjoyed the game. Have a nice day :-)

Weird! Out of 316 wins, no one else mentioned finishing a game they won? Did any mention at least playing with some impressions?
I moved on to my next win and am playing through Ryse. I have Octodad too and played through the original so I could feel like I can play its sequel. The first is really short since it was a student project type of game. 20 to 45 minutes I'd say depending on how you adjust to controls.
edit: Thinking on it, I think only one person has ever commented (outside of a group gift) that they even played or finished any of the games I gave away, so it's probably not that surprising that people don't.
I still did enjoy Layers of Fear enough, but the achievements made me annoyed because I could have turned it into 2 playthroughs for the DLC. I did follow a guide but I didn't know I had to make Dad choices for that achievement and so I restarted again. The game once bugged out too and I didn't have a painting I was supposed to have so I had to restart there as well.

Glad that you liked it a bit - it's not a bad try from a small developer from my country. I personally don't give a fcuk about achievements, I find playing with them in mind detracting from the overall experience. Have a nice evening, cheers!
