Bit of both. I do like DC Vertigo's Sandman. Also enjoy Marvel's Avenger movies. For cartoons, I prefer Rick and Morty over DC/Marvel productions.

DC, because it has The Music Maester, Jona Hex, Doom Squad, The Arsenal, The Joker, Black Mantha, The Gentleman Ghost, Guy Gardner, Funhouse, Two Face, Shrapnel, Solomon Grundy, Aquaman and some other odd bunches like that cat girl villain who controls cats and etc. (These characters are all seenable in Batman The brave and the Bold, only Batman cartoon ive ever seen and to me, the best one, screw all that death commoding dark grim crap.)

DC. The dark reality DC comics puts on front (AKA Watchmen, Sandmen, etc) cannot be compared to the little fantasy world of heroes that Marvel offers. I guess Marvel just too OP with their heroes and characters and that leaves little to flaws we can relate in the real world.
