Slam Bolt Scrappers' core gameplay can be difficult to understand. You'll travel from stage to stage via a world map. Once on a stage, you'll be greeted with a Tetris-like grid where your character has to float around and drop various-shaped blocks. But, unlike Tetris, the idea here isn't to eradicate lines, but rather to create squares -- 2 x 2, 4 x 4, and so on -- that spawn various weapons based on the color of the blocks in question. These weapons will then fire on your opponent's grid, obliterating their defenses. The first player to destroy the other's arsenal wins.
