You like reading? You like games? You like to read about games but are tired of the same reviews, previews and rumour articles you see everywhere? And you prefer a real book over an online article/eBook?

Then here is the solution for you – the WASD bookazine (a combination of a book and a magazine). It combines the best of both worlds. The high quality of a book with thick paper and quality printing, the length of a book with over 200 pages, the colorful style of a magazine and various art-style to lighten up the texts.

The WASD has not the typical gaming reviews, previews etc. which you already find everywhere on the internet, instead each issue covers one subject e. g. death in video games or politics in video games. Different authors write for the WASD and half of the articles of each issue are covering the main subject. The other half are common topics about new and old games. They have a few reviews, but they are more written in a player perspective or written in the perspective of an ingame character. There are no ratings or real recommendations. The articles have more the style of a small coverage story or a documentation.

If this got your interest, then there is one problem left.
Currently the WASD only exists in the german language. It is already existing for over five years now and up to now there are eleven issues released (WASD is released twice a year). But wait, you can help to make an international release happen:
They are currently running a kickstarter campaign to release an english version of the WASD which ships worldwide. In addition they will be able to hire not only authors from germany, they will be able to hire authors worldwide which will improve the already high quality and variety of the WASD even more.
