Haven't played this one yet, but really dug the demo. The aesthetics are great, and the previous games by the devs, while completely different in style, also had some amazing pixel art and pretty good writing.

Oh wow, I didn't know it is made by guys/gals that made The Last Door. Nice! Sadly I was disappointed with Blasphemous but I'm really curious what will they make next.

Had no idea either! Interesting. May I ask what disappointed you when playing Blasphemous?

Sure. Well, simply there are so many metroidvania style games right now that it is really tough to stand out. Some people called it "Dark Souls in 2D" and there are some problems with that as well: 1.) It isn't unique as you can easily say that both Hollow Knight or Dead Cells have some significant gameplay mechanics borrowed from Dark Souls 2.) It's just not true. Blasphemous is quite easy, you don't need to learn your opponents moves almost at all (bar maybe the start) and boss battles are forgetable. i didn't like the clunky controls, the backtracking (lots of it) and and the necessity to choose only three relics at a time (so you have to swap them constantly).
It's not a bad game though, it's okay, I just think that there are many better alternatives. I'm also not that fond of this dark gothic quasi-religious vibe that Blasphemous has, If you like such themes you'll probably have a better time with it than I did.

Thank you for detailing out your thoughts. Not sure yet how I feel about the quasi religious-vibe, but it sure is nice to hear it's easily accessible.

What regions is it restricted to? I can't enter it.

Latin America, unfortunately for me (well, if I go past the 5 entries mark it doesn't matter) and fortunately for the participants.
