You're right. But there're bound to be some reasons for such negativity to exist. Anyway the original price is relatively high, comparing with other similar games. I heard this game when it was released on App Store, and from the appearance it seemed to be funny. But I never try it. Maybe I'm right though.

The biggest complaints were about it being abandoned after a long series of disappointing betrayals (for lack of a better word) in development. It had turned from a pc game with potential into a microtransaction-filled app game. If it were five bucks, though, I might still have bought it. $20, though? I just can't.

You remind me of a game which has similar issue on devs. theHunter: Primal. But it's quite simple. The game just never updates. The contrast to it is Fistful of Frags. FoF just gets updates all the time, and it's completely free. Games vary indeed.
