I once bought a (out of stock) book at a convention and was sooo happy I was able to get it. Only to realize when I got back home, that I had managed to get it online a couple of days earlier ... with it being send to me that very day. Had just forgotten to strike it off my list of things to look for at the convention.
I still own both books, the one in better condition is placed in one of my bookcases and the other is the one read from time to time.
