Additional fun fact: research confirmed that medicines can have effect only by being present in your house. You just have it in your medicine cabinet, and it has effect. Human brain is weird.

I am myopic and like many of them I see black dots floating in my eyes, "flying flies". They always are but you don't always see them. That is, the brain decides to ignore them. Other times I just look at them and have even mistaken them for insects and instinctively chased them away with my hand.
Needless to say, this greatly disturbs anyone who is looking at me xD
