Oh man, I love this game! Got it as soon as it came out. It's a shame that the community isn't as alive anymore (I think), but hopefully, that changes once the Switch port comes out.
Already have it, so best of luck to all the 200-ish contestants!

Mind giving your perspective of what it's like because I'm eccentric and like to hear people talk about things they enjoy?

Sure xD Well, it's a spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio (primarily) and Mirror's Edge (loosely, mostly just cuz you can play it in first-person). It's certainly a unique game that improves the JSR formula by giving players a colorful and well designed vertical open world (divided into two open areas, two enclosed ones, and one more linear area that's like a "final dungeon"). The gameplay is very fluid, enjoyable, and accessible, tho it isn't that easy to master. also, the story is awful and the characters are all poorly written, but the universe the developers built sure is interesting and the game itself is just pure fun. It does have its problems, mostly with how multiplayer is handled, but it's definitely worth the price for anyone who's looking for a non-violent game that's not concerned with self-pandering its own "innovation" (I'm looking at you, Yonder).

100% appreciate the input. I've just recently started JSR for the 3rd time to finally play it, play it so that's a fresh comparison. I just ran into a nice guy in the Spearhead Games Discord that happened to be giving away pieces of the HumbleBundle and got Duck Game and Besiege but the other person got Hover and Rocket League which coincided with this inquiry.
Basically in the last 5 days my involvement with this "Wishlist Quest" they were running has been nothing but overwhelmingly positive.
