• Peachleaf Pirates (Beta) - A very promising farming sim/adventure game that features Monkey Island-style humour & graphics, some solid roguelite temple-crawling & a chain of fun and unassisted (requires some logical thinking; not those MMO-style quests) quests to complete. (Vid 1) More stuff here
• The Falconeer - If you find piloting your spaceship in Everspace to be enough of a challenge, you might want to give this game a pass. If not, you might relish the challenge in this game. For me at least, I happen to fall in the former category so I find the warbird I'm suppose to be riding very hard to pilot, especially during combat. Crosshairs will disappear during intense dogfights, making me a sitting duck basically, and aiming at a fast-moving target while you yourself is also fast-moving is incredibly hard here. I suspect there's some aim assist involved but either it's faulty or it's not a good as.... say Everspace's. That aside, I quite like that the game gives you complete freedom to explore the open world as you like, landing on island settlements to pick up seemingly-repeatable quests, though there are slight variations between them, or you could also follow the game's chapter-based campaign and learn more about the intriguing ocean world you'll be flying in.
