Helsingborg is one of my favorite cities in Sweden. I used to live here when I was working in Båstad. Båstad in small summer city not far from Helsingborg and is most famous for the "Tennis week" that is going on just now. There are lots of brats from Stockholm in Båstad during this week before they leave for Saint Tropez in France for more party.

Before the bridge the best way to travel by car to Denmark was to take the ferry from Helsingborg to Helsingør in Denmark. But not everyone is leaving the ferry, it's very popular to "tura". I don't know a english word for it, but to "tura" means what you traveling back and forth between Sweden and Denmark eating smörgåsbord drinking beer and snaps.
