There's a game called Epic Manager that just recently came out. It involves hiring adventurers via contracts to build up your agency (aka guild). You send them out on quests to accrue gold and fame. The combat is turn based as well, but it doesn't take long. There's also an option to "simulate" combat (auto resolve). I've put a few hours into it and it's fun. This is really a good game but you need patience cause it has some flaws and can be brutal.

I gathered a few copies, but I saved one for myself. Gotta wonder if I will be able to enjoy it or not (but I think I would..)
I just don't like too many turn based games because they take me a while to finish. I sort of really want to play Hard West more, though.
