Yep! Although some otome games have female love interests as well, especially if they’re made in the West, and sometimes they’ll have gameplay elements beyond being a VN (usually stat-raising.) My personal fave otome is probably SoulSet, which combines the romance with a solid fantasy-mystery plot.

otome games are generally dating visual novels where the main character is female and the dating selections you can choose from are male.
Otaku is the opposite, you are male dating females.
