Yeah, it's WarZ. It has always been a great game. It still is if you give it a try and don't listen to the whingers that didn't get what they wanted, when they wanted it.

When I purchased the game (well before release) it was clearly stated on the purchase page that it was a game in development. They reused resources from one of their previous games (a lot of companies do this), they made a lot of promises that they didn't keep, phrased things a little wonky making it sound like the game was finished instead of in development, a few changes in phrasing and the whole issue would have been avoided completely.

Everyone cracked the sads when they used the term 'foundation release' instead of 'beta' arguing that a 'release' should have all the functions of a retail game. This continued even after the developers gave their definition of 'foundation release', stating that it was a game that was going to be under constant development.

The head of Hammerpoint, Sergey Titov, was targeted by the ill-informed trolls of the forums, posting videos of a game that was created using his game engine, which was purchased by another company while still unfinished, which they were informed of, and used in a game. His name was attached to the final game release, but he states in an interview that he only created and licensed the proprietary engine.

They've caved to the whingers, trolls and haters on a number of things, but it's still a good game in comparison to what they were aiming for with their original idea.

Great game. Give it a go, keep your head down and trust no one unless they're within arms reach IRL.

Dude, look for War Z It is the same game. They changed the name to fool people.
