From what I've read it looked like something related to VR indeed. Well, thanks for the info. :)
It doesn't require a VR headset. It's a way to get surround sound to come through your headphones.
I don't use headphones at all, so... better chances for the rest of you! :)
As best I can tell, it allows surround sound to come through your headphones, or your basic PC speakers. In other words, surround sound without actually needing to have speakers set up all around your room.
