Don't be scared and don't hesitate to ask for help/clues if you get stuck, the goal is for you to solve everything, not to get frustrated. You can ask here for help with the word equations if you can't figure them out and I'll try my best to point you in the right direction.

Hi, totally lost (my usual state, really). Have been doing 01-Air. Finished the hidden ITH, got all 3 words. No idea what to do with them. Read the "solving word equation" explanation. Just assumed it was word 1 plus word 2 minus word 3...that's not it. Do I just rearrange the word order or am i up that proverbial creek. Probably should go to bed and sleep on it :)

You should focus on the state of a certain part of the object. Does it help? If not, ping me you know where to check the words you have?

I had actually a mistake in picture 3 for equation #11. The third picture is more of a concept. You may use an old giveaway from me and I can confirm if you have the correct words.

I added and subtracted the words I did know then I looked at the picture with the 20 passcode pictures and of the ones I had left guessed one that could have the remaining letters I had... if that makes sense... lol

Stumped on 03-Water. Have 2 possibles for first word, no clue for second (looks like a stop sign without the symbol), and am inclined to use a sound for the last word?? Gives me 6 letters and no vowel, lol (well, have a y but cannot make a word)

You're inclined right for the last one (at least in the idea from what you say) and for the second you have the right idea clearly. You're mistaking somewhere though because at no point in that equation should you have a "y". If you need to get confirmation for the words you already have though, you can always add me on steam, I should be around later during the day.

have found another alternative for the first word, gets rid of the y...gives me a word that may fit one of the pictures, will go with that for now, thanks for your help

Sorry, stuck on 06-Rice (managed 4 and 5 on my own). First picture, no clue because fish only has 4 letters. Think I know the middle picture and not much of an idea for the third picture. The two ideas I had for third picture do not help with letters for first picture.

Had some sort of breakthrough (hanging out the washing can do that).. the letters are not easy to put into a word, am cheating and using an anagram solver. Still, bit obscure, think I messed up somewhere

Okay, did not even think to try it...will go do it now. 1 and 3 do rhyme (saw that in a hint to someone else). And I appreciate all your help (currently working on 08, the grammatical sentence). Do not expect an immediate answer, know you live on the other side of the world :)

Having trouble with the picture equation for Hidden Puzzle 11. I think I have four of the five words, but I've no idea what pic 4 is. I saw the comment above about the need to 'focus on the state of a certain part of the object', but I still haven't been able to find anything that works.

The word you're looking for is an adjective that describe the object you're looking at. More specifically the part of that object that seems "off" when you think about the basic representation of said object.
