I really like living where I am now (California, near San Francisco). I've been here for a couple years, after living most of my life in Santiago, Chile.
I would love a place with more affordable housing and health care, but I have no reasons to complain.

Oh man, San Fran is not the place to go for affordable housing! hahaha but wonderful nonetheless. Maybe that's why you're on Steamgifts, eh? Hahaha
That's awesome about Chile though. My high school soccer coach was from there!

I wouldn't mind living somewhere like Iceland, Finland, or Sweden, I'd never be able to pick up the languages though... so as far as pleasant English speaking countries are concerned, I suppose New Zealand wins. I've been to Singapore and loved it, but the housing costs are too high.

This is almost exactly me! I have always said for English speaking countries, New Zealand with Singapore as a backup. If I could learn the language, almost certainly Norway, Sweden, or Iceland.

Plettenberg Bay! <3 The beach, the weather, the slowed down lifestyle.
