This is the second installment in The Deed series. It consists of several vignettes set rather like the board game Clue, with the scenario reversed. Rather than playing detective, you assume the role of the criminal, and must determine how to murder your victim in a setting and manner that results in it being pinned on someone else.
It is light on graphics, heavily text-based. The visuals and controls are simplistic. But it is not a kinetic novel. It is a a tiny, non-linear, open world with few choices. And yet, it is hard to win.
Every decision you make in the game affects the final stage, during which a detective interrogates you after having questioned all the NPC's, and determines whether the evidence implicates you or your intended scapegoat. It is surprisingly fun for how simple it is, and has considerable replay value, as it is rather unlikely that you will succeed during your first attempt at getting away with any of the murders.
