None for me! as I always try to watch gameplays or at least screnshots from the game, if that's isn't convencing enough then drop it.
Demos are good too, but nowadays you find less and less each day. What are they afraid of? (if you know what I mean) :wink:

Back in the day of diskettes and recently appeared cd's I bought HEXEN II (cd) thinking it would be like hexen 1.. In one hand I had gecko the lizzard (plataformer) in the other I had hexen II, the dark purple/brown cover only had a small devil on the center. I didn't even remember finishing it, or if I did I never played it again. It wasn't that bad though so I still don't regret it :)

My most regretted purchase has to be Sword of the Stars 2. I really enjoyed the first SotS and pre-ordered the second as soon as it was available, but it turned out buggy and unfinished as hell. After the developers lied to the fans about the state of the game for a while they finally caved and offered refunds, but I was stupid enough topass up the opportunity because they promised they would fix the game over the next few months. The next few months became a year, and when the game was finally "finished" it became clear that it wasn't just buggy and unfinished, but also just plain not any fun to play.

This was one of the main reasons I no longer pre-order games.

As a gamer, what game gave you the most buyer's remorse?
