This was my absolute favorite NES game as a kid, and this remake does a fantastic job of capturing the magic of the original. I'm told that getting it working on the latest version of Windows can be slightly tricky, though (I think I last played this on Windows 7). The original developers are gone, so you'll have to find third-party patches and libraries to run it successfully.

I have gotten this working on Steam Deck with Proton GE and some instructions on some library DLL or such to load. It works with Windows emulation, basically.
Also a big fan of the original game.
