I don't care for blizzard but i thought some of you might, luckily they weren't able to fully access battle.net accounts or there might have been a few mass suicides this week over lost level 80 WoW characters, i joke,i joke.. :S

WoW isn't really that bad. The "hardcore" players make it a little unbearable, though. EDIT: Yes, Diablo 3 is shit.

Can't agree more. About never playing a blizzard game again at least.

Looks like haters always find a way to shit at something.

Wonder why people didn't care when Valve was hacked, or Sony for that matter. It sure as hell didn't cause so much hate.

"Oh okay, we understand, thanks for noticing us guys"

Same happens to Blizzard

"Fuuuu, good I'll never bother with my Battle.net account again anyways hoooooo"

Ridiculous.

Uhhh, Sony getting hacked was actually a big deal and a lot of people were bitching, whining, and/or flaming

Yes, there was a backlash, but when Sony stood out, and expressed their concern about the matter, everyone shut their mouth instantly. Blizzard became aware of the situation, instantly adressed this with the players, and who do you see bitching? Non-players. Because they have no fucking better thing to do. That's what annoys me the most. It's that they can't leave the hell alone those who actually still enjoy their stuff.

according to the article, blizzard found out about the leak on Aug 4th, and told customers about it on Aug 9th. That's not "instant". I understand that this shit happens, but I would really like to be made aware of it ASAP.

Lemme rephrase, they told the customers about it once they fixed the holes. Which sounds better to me than letting everyone freak out, and THEN trying to fix security.

.........ummmm chill dude no one is attacking you, its just a friendly informative thread where people share their opinions on a recent matter, you act like people are going out of their way to abuse the of battle.net account holders or something, when you clicked on a post that you knew would have mixed views from a mixed set of people, i don't think you expected everyone to be sucking on blizzards toes and praising their everlasting perfection like that crazy janitor in long island >.<

I act the way I do because threads like this are daily. It's nervewrecking to be honest, because it's always coming from the same "group" of people, and they clearly aren't the Blizz product players.

Hacks like this happen quite often, that's all there is to it. People who are bothering with these at all obviously aren't going to hit lowbie targets, and why Blizzard would be an exclusion? On the other hand no raw data was taken, only scrambled passwords and the likes, so the security DID work to some extent. But that interests noone, because "BLIZZARD/BATTLE.Net HACKED sounds so much better.
