Final Fantasy VII FULL Remake for PS4 and PC [OFFICIAL]

No sources, no official announcement anywhere yet. Square-Enix have thus-far denied any plans for this.
If this is real, we'll know after they've had their E3 conference tomorrow -> it'd be too big of a deal not to announce it there.
(Although personally I find that FF7 is an entry in the series that has not aged well at all, and has relatively boring mechanics)

This game shouldn't be remade. Ever. But it most propably will because financial potential of that is insane. But no Sakaguchi, Uematsu or Ueda on that project means it will get raped horribly.

I doubt it, they looked foolish announcing the PC Port for Playstation last year xD

I think it is a waste of potential if they do, FF7 is available, the experience is available, but that it is my opinion.

Doubt they will remake it. A true FF7 remake will most likely mean starting from the ground up; new engine, new assets, etc. That is a whole lot of cash to bank on nostalgia.

I'd rather have decent PC versions (a simple port would suffice) of some of the other games. XI in particular, maybe X as well (I won't lose sleep if they leave out X-2) but that's probably never going to be released on anything that isn't a Playstation.

That's why they did that joke last year, to get back on stage this year and confirm the real deal. Sony today will be completely insane and if The Last Guardian that is rumoured, Shenmue 3 that have their director already ready to talk today and this remake appear... We could be seeing one of the best days in gaming history. Let's wait and see because i'm already happy this year and i "only" saw that Bethesda AWESOME conference.

I'd rather see a Final Fantasy VI or V remake, but this one is nice too (Even though VII is probably my least favorite entry in the franchise.)

Watch them use the FF13 battle system.

Siliconera being considered a reliable source that doesn't just throw unsubstantiated rumors around + a random member at NeoGAF giving more details on this matter (which supposedly got verified by a mod).
