Banana?
The 3rd dimension is my favorite dimension and i have a feeling i'd like to play an RTS game with space ships (who doesn't like space ships?) utilising my favorite dimension while also using the other dimensions :)
Thank you for sharing in any case :)

I never played it, thought i might pick it up now, but I dunno. I like rts games and this seems supersexy, hopefully it is.

I actually played both Homeworld:Cataclysm (I really liked managing small mining ship operation-turned-horror-story plotline) and HW2 (which I played on 4 generation of PCs, and it still looks amazing due to graphic style, especially Bentusi and Progenitors) but I was never able to find original HW for over decade, always sold out :(
Out of curiosity, what game remaster resembles more - Cataclysm or HW2? I remember H2 was considerably more user friendly, while Cataclysm more precise, but also supposedly improved on HW interface?

Was one of the first games I started to enjoy graphically with smooth FPS when I bought my first "big" GeForce graphic card tons of years ago :P. Altough is an space game and don't has much envorinment graphics to enjoy, I loved the way the mothership teleported and trespassed the blue portal (Was the first time I saw something like that in a game), and looked for a lot of time at all the details all ships had imaging all the components, rooms and life inside the ships.
All this while enjoying one of the first 3d space RTS I played. I loved to focus on a spaceship and look him maneuvering through a space war, shooting and destroying enemies. Has a good gameplay with almost anything to envy from current RTS games.
PS: Thank you! :P

Focusing on the super capital ships to watch their turrets track and fire on targets was why I always favoured making fleets of them instead of small strike craft, but it was a lot of fun to watch fighters dart in and out too.

I'm just another jackass who would like to play the games.

Played the original Homeworlds a lot. Then when they announced/released the Remake, I was invited to a skype chat with tons of people who expected me to have bought it when it was 11% off during its initial release. But I didn't, because it seemed to expensive to me to just play it in multiplayer in the end.
Now with the sale, I've almost bought it with the reasoning "I might as well play the SP campaigns again".
Does your giveaway end before its sale?

I've never played through all of Homeworld, but from what I played of it years ago, I really enjoyed it. I was pretty excited when the Homeworld Remastered Collection was announced.
I'm not a big fan of RTS games, but I do love space games. Homeworld just feels different, more tactical-like, and just overall I found it to be much, much better than a typical RTS game. I would love to have the new Remastered Collection so I can get back to it again. =)

I've got the first Homeworld with a gaming magazine I used to collect. Tried to get into it, but I didn't have strong enough PC for that and the gameplay was like, really choppy. Wouldn't mind trying the remastered version now with my recently assembled semi-beast :)

When I saw it was 60% off so soon I thought it was a pricing error, so I added it to cart and tried to buy it pronto. Kept getting errors while trying to checkout, eventually gave up.
When I finally realised it was the actual discount I couldn't stomach the price anymore! But I still want to play it :)

They're watching me! Am I about to be kidnapped and violated by your alien kind? Isn't that what you guys are all about? I feel preemptively dirty. :(

What name is alien similar to? The C seems fairly easy to figure out after looking at your profile, but...alien? O.o
Can you at least erase my memory after you're done with me? That way I'll just wake up wondering why I hurt in places that don't normally hurt.

I had finished playing Haegemonia, which I liked it and I wanted something similar.
I only played the demo of HW1 though...

I would only call them loosely similar, but Haegemonia was also ahsum.

I've never played a single Homeworld game, and my friends have been pestering me about it. Over, and over, and over, and... well, yeah. You get the message. Would love to try it out!
Also, I need more good RTS games to sink my time into. As is, the only one that I'm seriously addicted to is Revenge of the Titans.
Thanks for your consideration, as well as your generosity. Cheers!

Man if only I could make money every time I burned things, especially for burning spiders. I'd make a bajillion gazillion dollars in a day!

I never had a chance to play Homeworld games, I remember my friends in junior school always talking about it and I didn't even have PC back then to play it lol. Well I guess that kept going on up to now, I'd really like to play it since I love sci-fi games be it strategy or action or RPG.

I want to own Homeworld Remastered because I have so many fond memories of building salvage corvettes until I reached the build limit and then using my army of ninja ship thieves to steal each and every piece of the enemy fleet I could get my grubby little hands on, and I very much want to re-experience that thrill in high definition.

Did you capture every single ship in Bridge of Sighs? That took a ridiculously long time. I think I had to come back to it over the course of a couple of days.

That's the level with the massive sphere of ion frigates surrounding your goal, right? I definitely had to save and come back to that level periodically, but I managed to capture anything larger than a frigate; the fighters and strike craft were more trouble than they were worth, and would would kill too many salvage corvettes before I could stop them. And since I was way beyond the build limit by that point, there was no way for me to make new salvage corvettes. But it was incredibly fun to get some fast-moving craft just close enough to get three or four frigates moving to chase it, and then sending it fleeing back towards my fleet. Once the frigates were a few kilometers away from the sphere of death, I would send in a group of salvage corvettes I had waiting, and then enjoyed my spoils of war. I don't know exactly how many ships I had when I finished, but it was enough that I remember the game would have trouble rendering them all on the screen at the same time. I wonder if the Remastered edition would have similar problems rendering a fleet with a few hundred frigates...

That fleet always decimated the asteroid on the next level. To be honest I've never faced Chapel Perilous without an overwhelming ball of firepower. If I can restrain my space-greed I may make that an objective when I get around to doing the single player campaigns.
So far Remastered has handled 4 large fleets with no trouble but those were all within the size limits.

Because reasons (basically many people derped, myself included) I wound up getting my copy of Homeworld Remastered for free. Since I still want to financially support the remake I've purchased a second copy to give to you
jackasseslovely people. Comment below with why you would like (or think you would like, in case you haven't played HW before) to own this game. If I like what you've said then you'll be temporarily added to my whitelist and invited to a giveaway for Homeworld Remastered. It doesn't have to be some heart warming story about how your mom died when the original game was released and she sounded just like Karan S'Jet so the game helped you deal with your grief. dafuq? It'll just be whatever comments I randomly decide I like. Unless there are a lot of exceptional comments I only plan to invite about 10 people total.Update to end all updates: Thread closed and everyone's been notified. Thanks for your comments, everyone.
