Yes, it allows someone to take it directly, it only adds the person automatically to your friend list. You can remove them immediately after the trade.
Generating the links is tricky, I don't know about any simplier way. This is how I did it:
Create a temporary e-mail address at https://temp-mail.org/
Send the guest pass gift to that address and finally copy the link from the e-mail body.
