Whos played magic 2014?

Has anyone played it and is it a fun game to get into?
I used to play the actual card game but is the steam version any fun? I havent played in years.
Is the game full of champions or new players too?

It's mostly casual players who are new to the game or aren't willing to play M:O

It's pretty much what you'd expect. Unless you are really into magic (i.e. get mad at not having every possible card available) it's pretty damn fun.

I enjoy Magic quite a bit and since I don't have that much time I usually get them every year and have a blast with them. Not too challenging even on the hardest setting and the challenges are quite nice for getting back in shape.

I'd go for 2013 discounted or even 2012 and 2013. Honestly they are fairly close to the sports games of TCG's.

They're quite fun but not that different. My suggestion is to wait for a discount on 2013 and then buy 2014 down the line. They're more or less identical anyways, sans the actual scenarios.

EDIT: they always have a shit ton of DLC too, so i usually wait for the Gold editions- they include all deck packs and stuff.

Played the iOS demo, and it allows for much more customization than previous Magic: DOTP games.
Would highly recommend it.
