All the BF3 giveaways were removed, was this because bf3 is not allowed here or were they fake giveaways?

How can Minecraft be on Steam if it's not even released yet?

as mentioned up there^ Minecraft and a few others of these games also are not on steam. So, they should not have bene removed seeing as you could still download them in some way.

BF3 is on the list of games to gift, so why would it even be there if it isn't allowed? Also don't take the sites 2 word name so literal, like others have said other non-steam games have been put up and given away, and many games are sent by email not gifted over steam, so I assume you would want the sites name changed to gamecodesemailedtoyouasgifts.com

Also pretty sure the site isn't under some contract that limits them to only giving away steam games.

You're right. Minecraft isn't on Steam, I also don't see why BF3 keys shouldn't be given away. (Especially when I'd really love to win it rather than buy it)

They were both Russian uploadeders but I asked the guy he said they were region free keys.

All BF3 keys are region free. Only problem with Russian copy is that you have to 'patch' some files to make it English.

Ok to clear things up. Cg added the game after popular request to the list of games. It is one of the few exceptions on SG where the game does not use Steam. However it does use another digital platform called Origin. This is where you must activate the game, it's just like Steam. All keys are region free and these giveaways are considered legal by EA and the ToS of Origin as long as the key you give away is a gift and not a trade, for as trading is not (yet) legal on Origin.

None of this answered the question: BF3 giveaways were removed, they were given an exception, why were they readdeD?
