That's fair. In case you're ever interested just remember that's simply about researching a bit, emulation advances all the time so you have to keep up with it to know what's currently doable.

It´s been ages since I created partitions for a different OS. There´s probably the option for connecting a new SSD and install for example Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit or the best suited for emulation and just fill It with emulators since malware/viruses can´t migrate to a different drive, not even to a different partition If I recall. I just don´t now If this way your computer will let you pick the OS from the start since It´s another drive. I just installed different OS on the same HD.

There's no room for worries, you download emulator from official website and games (roms) from, well, "unofficial" ones. I can't try Switch emulation since I have really old GPU, but it continues to improve every month. There are two emulators currently in development - Yuzu and Ryujinx, you can do your research which is better currently in general and/or for a specific games.
Emulating older Nintendo consoles works great and is pretty much perfect, with many additional improvements such as 60fps framerate, 4K resolution and many addons. They work excellent even on old PCs such as mine. You use Dolphin for GameCube/Wii emulation and CEMU for Wii U. It is interesting that with help of a certain program you can download Wii U games directly from Nintendo servers. :P

I moved apartments and now live between two different train stations. My company pays my transport fee to get to work and the route they have told me to use is overly complicated - 3 changes instead of 1 and I need to walk to the station instead of getting a bus. There is another, less complex route from the other station with only one change but I can't use it.
Part of the reasoning is that I live less than 1km from the station. You need to live more than 1km to get a bus. The thing is, that's less than 1km as the crow flies (i.e. in a straight line, ignoring obstacles). If you check the route using paths/a road it's 1.3km.
Not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, but just infuriating how they stick to the rules exactly when it suits them but bend them when they want to.

I'm just really, really, irritated that my body just won't recover after getting covid the last few days of november.
While most of my classmates just keep on pushing all the 'covid = fake, it's just a flu, it's not that bad' agenda all over their facebook walls and conversations in school.
I just want to NOT fall asleep after a morning of zoom school, or be exhausted for 3 days after doing my internship for 2 days, 6 hours a week.

Interesting. My sibling was part of RedditGifts and never had a good experience with it. I remember them reading a lot negative comments about it (scammers, resellers, bad regifts and items from junk "totally a $40 item we're selling for $5, we swear!" type sales) and this was at least 5-7 years ago (they tried it anyway more than a few times). I can't remember if there were caveats or if RedditGift had any karma system or private groups but I think they only tried the big public ones. I'm saddened to hear that you and others had a good time with it and now it's gone, but at least there's still subreddits and the like that'll be doing these types of exchanges. Heck, maybe those can get so big Reddit can buy them out lol.
Oh, my understanding for how those gift exchange sites gain profit besides donations is linking and pushing optional affiliate marketing mostly.

i lost my dad,grandad,and dog i have with me 14 years,this make me understand it's not worth to waste lose the percious time we have in life for do or feel mad,i prefer to ignore who or things that do\act bad and instead fix the enviroments or go to who make i stay happy and laugh,instead of fight and mad,so i not mad about nothing now,because i not let problems,people,enviroments to make me mad.
People think we always stay here unlimited time or we are same superman (so why people use much run with car\moto,do drugs,do alchool and all things damage health self) but is not,today we stay tomorrow maybe we die,so the time we have of life is important and take care health too,no one give you prize for fight or mad or do shit to other,instead you get personal prize if help other people (also only give water\food\cover to homeless people) and is not about "Religion" or "Creed" it's just about if you do good to people you go sleep happy by know you help someone,but if you do opposite like most of people like to act today by be boss or best\smart act bad then only this bring to be sad in future or is ok also also stay your own if you use time for create and enjoy your think and be\stay with who make you happy,instead of mad or fight or be polemic\hateful of the thing of others that not give you nothing only make life bad or sad and lose time for nothing,so i just stop to mad now always only stay happy whatever happen in my life even big sick health problem,dad and mom make us born for be happy,not for mad,if want to mad have time after passed away for sure.

I have participated in redditgifts about 5 times. Last time was in 2017. Santa a couple of times, and some which envolved candy/snacks/etc.
The first package I received was from the USA and it was absolutely great. A lot of time and love was spent on it.
Then came a couple of meh packages. I liked the effort a bit but thought they were all lacking. Then in 2017 I had me final gift which was nothing more than a "fuck you" in a box. Zero effort, no love. I'm sure the guy spent not more than 2 euros on my "gift", threw it in a box and thought "well hey, Ive done my part!".
I had enough of it. I always did my best to give an awesome box. Like the 1st one I received. Its not cool to get shit in return ;)

I havent been angry for a long time. I'm often annoyed though. Irritated. Most often Covid related, but I decided to stay away from social media so I'm not triggered often.
Last time was when a guy entered the gas stop without a mouthmask. Yep, mouthmasks suck.. they dont work... etc. Agree! But we have some rules that inside a gas station you should wear one. You might not like em, thats fine, but dont act like a selfish dick. There was this 16 yo girl working and she asks this guy (aged 30 ish I guess) to wear a mask. Guy totally flipped, started screaming about how no one had the right to tell him anything, The girl was almost in tears. So I asked the guy to start behaving and it least it took the focus from the girl on me. It was scary and furiating. People are going nuts.

I`m seriously pissed off at people selling old ass cards double the price due to current situation.
New card costs about the same as a whole build could have cost before corona.....
Still sitting on my GT750ti and unable to upgrade as I can`t justify such huge prices..
But above all what makes me angry about this situation is that people are still buying the cards. Basically doesnt matter that they are 2-3 times the MSRP .. still sold out. Meaning that us, regular folk, can again eat shit while rich people and scalpers buy out all the stock at whatever the price... meaning that there is no reason for retailers to really lower prices back to MSRP...

Ugh ...what isn't making me mad today. My health is awful, my mom might have Cancer, I'm being s*xually harassed at work and everyone is saying 'but he's not like that he's such a nice guy!', my car is breaking even though it's literately a 2018 I've driven for like 5 months and I can't afford to fix, my ex left me with 18k debt which he doesn't really have the means to pay back and I'm not sure he would if he could, just had Covid and I'm still not recovered 2 weeks later, don't have any friends since I moved here just before covid so didn't have time to make new friends and well...still Covid...I'm just so frustrated and mad at the world right now. And this doesn't even go into Coidiots, and the rest of the bs.

I'll start:
Yesterday, a website that was active for more than a decade closed its doors. Redditgifts.com was made by some nice Reddit users and it was an expanded version of secret santa exchanges that you can see on forums and IRL. Aside from secret santa, there were also summer santa exchanges, t-shirt ones, Marvel & DC, comic books, books, pet stuff, and so on. I participated in almost all of them and one time the guy that got me as a match even bought me all parts for a PC and shipped it over. I remember some people were even giving away boat cruises and there were many celebrity users participating in exchanges, like Bill Gates. In 2011, Reddit bought the site and they eventually realized that not much money can be made through it. I mean, how exactly could you even sell anything in a place that's centered around philanthropy and users sending things to others out of their own pocket. It's a closed loop. So they closed it for good (while giving some PR garbage about closing it to "enhance user experience", whatever the heck that means).
But the thing that irks me in this whole case is how some business or a corporation can just swoop into something that's been community-created, take it over and then close it without any feedback from the users.
