Well one more hint, the number has 4 digits, example: 1234
Do not ask me about the number, I forgot it allready.
You are allowed to post numbers that do not match below, if it helps and is not seen as spam-bump.

The digit 3 is included, if I am not wrong, it is the first digit.

10000 numbers. Just because it is a 4 digit number, doesn't rule out 0000, 0001 etc. You've only considered the numbers that start with a none 0 digit.

EDIT: at 30 seconds per try, that is 120 tries per hour, so 83 hours.

At the time I wrote that I hadn't read anywhere that it wasn't a 0.

Assuming you remember right with the first digit being 3, then that's only 1000 combinations... 8.3 hrs now.

It's not impossible, would just take 1 person 83 hours to try every single 4 digit numeric string, leaving a 30 second interval. Statistics says you'll hit the jackpot in 42 hours though.

Lets separate in 4 teams. Delta, Alpha, Omega, Zeta teams. Each team will guess different sections of numbers. For faster way of finding out which number is the right number
Delta will take 1-2499
Alpha will take 2500-4999
Omega will take 5000-7499
Zeta will take 7500-9999

I chose a very random number, I even forgot what it exactly was yet. It should not be so hard now. Last time i looked for 544 and it was found in like 30 minutes. Note: This reply is NOT a hint.
