you may need gold, no idea. I have gold and it works. click here, and select buy game above try demo. It should load free. If you do not have a payment menthod use the ms point option. even with 20 ms points it works. I got the game free. enjoy big hug

Think they'll take it away when the gold runs out like a Playstation Plus or Zune Pass account? I have a free 2 day Gold trial.

This game is Microsoft's free game to celebrate E3. July's free games are Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3. Both are older games, but AC2 was one of the best sequels I've ever played. And I imagine people will have some fun with Halo 3 for free.

Hell, I don't like Halo and I'll probably still mess around with it a bit, simply because its free.
